Tell it out loud, put the phone away
Record with the screen off and talk for as long as you like. Every few seconds is saved, so a call, a locked screen or a flat battery loses nothing. Prefer typing? Writing it yourself is always there.
Your words, in the form you choose
Keep a transcript of exactly what you said, a lightly edited text, or a short story in a plain first-person voice. Every draft is checked against your recording for invented names and numbers, and for anything you denied.
Change it by saying so
"Change Noor to Nora." Toldmark shows the sentence before and after, and nothing changes until you apply it. Every change is a new version you can undo.

Dutch or English is transcribed on the device, with an optional better speech model you download once. No account, no server of ours, and nothing you say or write is sent anywhere. Edited texts and stories use the on-device model on phones that have one; elsewhere Toldmark says so.

Will it write out my voice on my phone?+
Toldmark writes out Dutch and English on the device. On an iPhone or iPad with iOS 26 it uses Apple's speech recognition; on Android the phone's own on-device recognizer where it has the language. The optional better speech model (a one-time download: 461 MB on iPhone and iPad, 670 MB on Android) works on both. Recording always works, and the recording is kept even when it cannot be written out yet.
Which phones can make a lightly edited text or a story?+
Those use the model on the device: Apple Intelligence on iOS or iPadOS 26, and Gemini Nano on Android phones that have it. Everywhere else you keep the transcript and can write the rest yourself; the app says which applies.
Where do my recordings and stories go?+
They stay on your device, and in the backup file you make yourself. Toldmark has no account, no cloud sync and no server of ours; nothing you say or write is sent anywhere.
How Toldmark is made
We develop our apps with AI tools for programming and translation. We use automated checks and device tests. oomny is responsible for the result, and a person answers support requests.

Toldmark writes out what you tell it on your device, in Dutch or English; the optional better speech model is downloaded once and runs on the device too. From your notes it can draft a short story with Apple's on-device model on an iPhone or iPad that has it, and with Gemini Nano on an Android device that has it; elsewhere the app says a story cannot be made there. You see every change before it is kept, and nothing you say or write is sent anywhere. The illustrations in the app were made in advance with an image model; nothing is generated while you use the app.
